Trying to create word cloud

Hello, i am trying to create a word cloud in the shape of a state, but i am wanting the words on the inside and not as the boarder. Does anyone know how to make this happen? |

Hi Leonard, Most likely the inner space of the state image you used is filled with white color. Tagul places words only on non-white space. Therefore to make Tagul place words into the inner space of the image you have to fill it with a non-white color. You can do it in any image editor (like MS Paint, Photoshop or GIMP). |

trehef20 First of all please don't use harsh language here. To solve your problem I suggest you to download your word cloud image in PNG format in the "Download and Share" section and email (or print) as you usually do with other images and pictures. |

| Hey! I just cannot create a wordcloud. I have a list of 448 words or expressions (mainly expressions) and I pasted it into the tool, select "do not repeat words" and hit "visualize". And all I get is a list of repeated word and expressions. Would you please help me create a wordcloud - with one instance of each word or expressions, with size proportional to the occurrence of each word/expression? | |

Roberta, you should have inputted each word / phrase only once in the Words section and assigned the appropriate size to the corresponding column. To remove the repetition choose "Keep as is (don't repeat words)" option in the "Layout" section. To help you out I did all the above changes to your word cloud. |

| Oh, lovely! Thank you, Alex. I still dont understand: a. shouldn't the size be defined by the number of occurences of each word on my list? b. I did select "Keep as is (don't repeat words)" and words were repeated. Would you pls clarify? In the meantime, I am building another cloud according to your instructions and will let you know… | |
