Hello. When i download the svg file, and try to upload it in Silhouette Design studio, it still opens like a jpeg and not cut file. Any tips?

You can try to convert SVG file to DXF in Inkscape (open the file in Inkscape and "save as" DXF file) and then open DXF in Silhouette Design.

Thank you Alex. Is Inkscape a downloadable file or program?

Inkscape is a free vector image editor.

Deanna, I recommend you to try to do the same thing and advise whether it works or not.

Hi Alex. I downloaded the program, saved the file to a DFX. When i open it in Silhoutte, it is blank, like there is nothing in the file

Hi Tracey, could you please send the SVG and DFX files to the support email so I could check?

I am having the same issue. I use Design Space and a Cricut with Mac. I have the SVG file on my computer and I can print it on my HP printer but I would like to be able to cut out the shape and print it on the Cricut but the Design Space software says the file is too complex. Any suggestions?

Could anyone confirm for me if the SVG files are working for Cricut Design Space yet? I'm thinking of the unlimited monthly purchase, but I want to make sure I'll be able to upload and cut…
