Resizing in Edit Mode

Hi Alex, I am wondering is it possible to resize individual words in different directions. Example, when I edit a word, I can only stretch it out to make it bigger. I would like to be able to just make a word taller rather then longer, similar to what I could achieve in word. Hope this makes sense to you. Do you think this would be possible? Macy

Hi Macy, I've just added that functionality. Now you can make a word taller or wider by using the control points placed on the middle of the word bounding box edges.

Hi With this new function I am finding it very difficult to move , reduce and make words larger without it making them tall and skinny and short and fat….Really struggling not liking at all….

Me too, I've been having the same struggles as above. It's not happening every single time though, but when I do move a word it's either tall and skinny, then I will try and resize it till I think it's about right, then go to visualise for the word to then shrink considerably and be all short and fat?

I like this feature but would prefer the option of being able to fix the proportions of a word without this happening and constantly readjusting itself in size.

Thanks

Will undo / redo functionality (which is under development) help to solve the issue or it is better to make it as an option?

Morning, I think is is just a bit sensitive Alex. I am managing by always making sure that the 'four' arrows are visible before I re position a word. It does gets easier with practice, bit like the first time you ever use a mousesmile

@MACY1969, sorry I have to disable this functionality as it turned out to have a lot of regression defects in various parts of Tagul generator.

Hi Alex, that's a shame, thank you for trying it though. Maybe something for the future smile

This is such a shame you've disabled this function Alex it was amazingly helpful to my designs. Is there any way you can put it back on again? Thanks Lisa
